FARADAY Coworking Office & Lounge

What we do

A Faraday Cage is a space enclosed by a metal mesh designed to eliminate electromagnetic effects, protecting the objects or living beings inside from the impact of rapidly changing electric or magnetic fields. Our project, named after this concept of protection and safety from the noise and stress of the outside world, is centered around our community office. The knowledge base and research findings developed here also form an integral part of our other programs.

The services of the SmallWorld foundation are being developed continuously, but we believe that this work cannot be successful without regular feedback, research, and professional training. This is why the members of the community space and office, as well as the founding members of our non-profit, share their experiences and knowledge in a structured form and foster a hands-on, pragmatic project to create a truly neurodivergent-friendly workplace.

How we do it

The lab project operates through consultations, focus group discussions, workshops, with the primary aim of collecting and analysing information and experiences, and disseminating our findings in an accessible way.

The Faraday community office is a truly free and open space. During opening hours (or even beyond for members), it offers a wide range of services to visitors and regular patrons. You can find the opening hours and pricing here.

Why we do it

We use the results of our research not only to develop and support our own community but also to build a knowledge base for similar organizations and to support and educate our members and contribute to raising awareness in wider society.

We run a Facebook group related to this project: Tardigrades! Self-help group for introverted and ND working adults. The primary language of the group is Hungarian but feel free to write in any language, FB translates it anyway!
