What we do
The Invisible Legion project is a collection of programs (professional publications, consultation opportunities, etc.) designed to develop and disseminate a practical neurodiversity package specifically designed for employers and corporations.
Why we do it
Worldwide, numerous programs assist companies in employing and supporting neurodivergent individuals (such as those with autism, ADHD, or dyslexia). Some notable examples include the proprietary programs of large corporations like SAP, Microsoft, and JPMorgan Chase, or organisations such as Specialisterne, which helps companies employ people with autism, and the Exceptional Individuals UK, which provides training, recruitment, and consultancy to companies for employing neurodivergent talents.
In Hungary, several government initiatives and laws exist that support the labor market integration of people with disabilities, including neurodivergent individuals. These initiatives are in line with EU directives and focus on workplace inclusion, equal opportunities, and accessibility. Since the available support, training, and rehabilitation options typically focus on disability support or reducing discrimination, neurodivergent adults without a diagnosis or self-diagnosed are not included among the beneficiaries. They must navigate and succeed in a world tailored to neurotypicals, which can be challenging to maintain in the long term especially if their unique sensitivities, capability structures, and needs are rarely met. Not accessing or ignoring their talent, original thoughts, and unique perspectives is one of the biggest losses of the labor market and employers in general.
How we do it
The Invisible Legion project is a collection of diverse activities (including publishing professional publications, consulting, etc.) through which we are able to develop and disseminate a practical toolkit specifically designed for employers.
Our experiential experts offer consultations and awareness-raising workshops for corporate clients. During these sessions, with the client’s consent, we collect anonymized information on questions, potential organizational limitations, and specific challenges that concern employers and companies. This information helps us further develop our support programs.
